"This song is about a person leaving an unhealthy relationship. After we finished writing it, we realized it was really relevant to the "Bridges" cause. I can only imagine what it must be like for the women in these shelters who have to escape the life they knew just to survive, and start all over to make a better life for themselves and their children. We are conditioned to believe that walking away means being weak....but there are times when 'giving up' is really 'being strong' ."
