"Jo and I were in the middle of writing another song and decided to take a detour. We just weren’t in the mood to work on the other one, so we decided to put it aside for the moment and dialogue for a while in search of another spark. It took us a few hours to dial in on this one, but when we did, we knew we were onto something. It came pretty smoothly and peacefully, like ocean waves lapping on the shore."
