I’ve been a student of Ray Hughes’ on-line messages for years. He's described as “a speaker, author, storyteller, singer/songwriter and musicologist”…and there’s a lot more to Ray Hughes! One of my all time favorite Top 10 Blessings in life was learning from Ray in person, during a 10-day songwriter tour in Scotland with BRAVE Worship friends. I LOVE my handmade writing pen and the story behind it!

I’ve had the privilege of meeting its author sQuire Rushnell. I love this book so much that I’ve given dozens of copies of it away through the years!

Eric’s COURAGE CAST podcast has not only been inspiring and motivating for me personally, but I’ve also been a guest contributor interviewed on a few of the episodes. Long before I ever met Amy Grant in person, I read an article of an interview she gave with advice for writers seeking to learn and grow in the craft of writing. She recommended this book, written by Brenda Ueland. Still to this day, I have to say, “Amy — I agree wholeheartedly!"
In my Faith Forward blog titled “Signs, Sealed & Delivered”, I share about how this book was given to me by divine answer to prayer. Not only is the message of the book something I recommend for everyone, but God even used a special “I Spy” message on its cover to let me know He hears my prayers and answers in detail!

I very much relate to the character “Much Afraid” in this classic book by Hannah Hurnard. Based on the scripture Habakkuk 3:19 (The LORD God is my strength, and He will make my feet like hinds' feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine high places), this is a book that will help give you courage to go where you have never gone before.

A friend told me about this movie, and after watching it I thought that it was so good, I ordered several more DVD’s to give away. When a life-altering experience happens to the main character of this film, he comes face to face with the realization that there is a difference between saying you’re a Believer, and actually BEING a Believer.
