my story

I’ve been singing and writing songs in Nashville since 1997. In the mid 2000’s, I went through a 5-year “desert experience” of losing my singing voice. From what I lost, something greater was found: a faith-forging journey that brought me closer to God. When I stopped chasing my music dreams and started chasing Jesus, He put new purpose in my heart that, ultimately, multiplied my voice in new ways for His Kingdom.

my family

I always get a “kick” out of life with my husband, Craig — a 17-year NFL veteran punter and kicker. Our three kids are our greatest treasures. We’re almost empty nesters now, and while it fills our hearts with joy to see them learning to fly, we’ve shed our share of tears looking back on their childhood in the rearview mirror. As the lyrics say in a song I co-wrote with Lydia Walker on her album about motherhood, “Little Doesn’t Stay for Long.”

my faith

My desert experience decision to go all in — seeking FIRST the Kingdom of God and His righteousness—has transformed my faith from the inside out.  Now, I’m inviting the outside in — calling myself a Kingdom Courier because I’m passionate about sharing the life-giving truths, divine guidance, and spiritual treasures that reshaped my life. All flowing from the All-Knowing …the One true SOURCE Himself.  That’s why I call them reSOURCEs, passed on to be a “Kingdom Ripple Effect” in the lives of others.  I sum up why I do what I do in this season of my life in this lyric of a song I wrote to honor a dear girlfriend – one who significantly impacted my life before she left this earth:  “Be the light that shines...don’t keep it all to yourself, ‘cause we only have a minute on This Side of The Veil.
